What is included in registration?

If you are planning on attending the EIS Conference or FETP International Nights from an international location and an invitation letter or visa support letter to facilitate your visa process, please contact abstracts@taskforce.org.
COVID-19 Policy
The health and safety of all CDC-EIS participants remain our top priority. We closely monitor government mandates and policy changes and local and venue guidelines along with public health announcements. As information pertaining to the changes, we will adjust our approach as needed and keep you up to date with new developments to ensure a coordinated effort and a safe environment for all participants.

Badges
What do I need to bring with me to check in and get my badge?
You must bring a physical copy of a government-issued photo identification. To speed up badge pickup, you are encouraged to show a copy of your "Know Before You Go" email with your unique QR code at the registration and information desk.

How can I ensure that the information on my badge is correct before the CDC-EIS Conference?
Information will be pulled directly from the online registration form. If a name was entered in capital letters, it will appear in capital letters on the badge. Please check your confirmation email for the personal identification information that will be printed on the badge.

What happens if I lose my badge?
If you lose your badge, you will need to go to the main CDC-EIS Conference registration and information desk. The registration desk staff will check to see if any badges have been turned in. If not, you can leave their contact information in the event the badge is returned. Unfortunately, due to security restrictions, new badges will not be issued if yours is lost. You should take extra care to safeguard your badge to ensure access to all events at the CDC-EIS Conference.
Meals
Are meals included with my registration?
No, this conference does not provide food and beverage.

Note: There are many different food options onsite at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta Downtown and in the surrounding area.
Virtual Platform
How do I download the mobile app (ShoApp) or access the online platform?
Information will be sent to all registered attendees approximately two weeks before the start of the conference.

How do I register and log into the online platform?
You must be registered to attend the 2025 CDC-EIS Conference to be able to access ShoApp and the online platform. Click here to complete a registration.

What if I can only attend some of the sessions in person?
All conference attendees will have access to sessions both in-person and streamed online. An additional virtual-only registration is not required. Information will be sent via email closer to the start of the conference on how to access the online platform and streaming agenda.
General Logistics
Where is the lost and found?
CDC-EIS is not responsible for any lost items. Lost items can be returned to the CDC-EIS registration and information desk. Once the CDC-EIS Conference ends, unclaimed items will be turned over to the Hyatt Regency Atlanta Downtown Security Department.

What is the expected dress code for the CDC-EIS Conference?
You are expected to wear business attire.

Where is smoking permitted?
The Hyatt Regency Atlanta Downtown is a smoke-free property. The designated smoking areas are located outside the hotel entrances.

Will there be Internet access?
Yes, complimentary wireless access is provided in all meeting spaces. We kindly request that you refrain from using this network for streaming video or other high-data activities.

Where is the Business Center located?
There is a FedEx business center located on site on the main level.

Will there be press on site?
Press may be on site.
Transportation
What is the nearest Metro station?
The nearest station is called the MARTA Peachtree Station (Forsyth & Peachtree Sts. Entrance), which is approximately a block and a half away from the hotel.

Is parking available at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta Downtown?
Yes, the hotel offers valet parking only. Rates will be available closer to the conference dates.

Visitor Parking is located on C Level at the Peachtree Center Avenue entrance. Visitors may gain access to the Garage by taking a ticket from the ticket spitter machine and pulling straight into the garage where 34 spaces are reserved for office visitors. Visitor Parking is limited to two hours. Regular parking rates apply to anyone using the Visitor Parking spaces. Visitors may also park in any non-reserved parking space in this 10-level parking facility.
